"My mother has Alzheimer's! I do not think I need to say anything about the devastating effects of this disease for her, but the emotional stress it had created within our family was quite overwhelming. I live in New Jersey with one brother in Connecticut and another brother in Florida. Thankfully with CK&A managing our mom's care, we all have the peace of mind to deal with this most difficult situation. Before we hired CK&A there was constant difficulty in managing all aspects of our mom's affairs. In Lee we have found someone who is warm and compassionate, organized, and knowledgeable. "For more than a year Lee Petinsky was an effective, conscientious, and caring geriatric care manager for my mom. My brother, sister, and I live far from Hallandale and are often traveling. We needed someone who would be our eyes and ears looking after mom and occasionally intervening in the tangle of bureaucracy that is geriatric care. For example, mom had 24/7 nursing assistants, but if there was a change in their schedule Lee would always check to make sure everything was all right. Once it was not, the night nurse had left before a temporary day nurse arrived. Lee became concerned when no one answered the phone and hurried over to the house to find my mother in a bad condition. She stayed several hours comforting and taking care of mother until her regular day nurse arrived home from vacation. My brother, sister, and I could not have done what she did on that day.
